The last couple weeks in LA have been absolutely beautiful. The skies have been clear, the temps are in the mid 70's to low 80's, and there is no sign of it changing anytime soon. Did I mention it is January??? That being said, I have been trying to take advantage of this weather as best as I can.
This past Sunday, I was invited to go kayaking down in Redondo Beach. It is one of my favorite places to go and is always a good time.
When I pulled into the parking lot, I was told my friend was going to be a little late. So, I grabbed my camera and went on a walk around the marina.
I don't know what it is about the site of boats that make me so excited. I am not a huge fan of riding in boats nor do I wish to own a boat. I just like to look at them! As you can imagine, the marina was packed full of big boats to little boats...sail boats to paddle boats and sport cruisers to luxury yachts. They were all embossed with unique names giving them their own identity This was my favorite: "LA WOMAN."
Is that Rocky Point? I've always wanted to go. Let me know when you go next and I will tag along. Keep me away from the seals though...I don't want to be tipped over! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics, Mols! Don't make me quit my job and move out there! Second thought, that may not be such a bad idea. I can't handle this cold anymore. Brrrr! I'm glad to see you are doing well. Miss you!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I would do anything to be on a boat right now in the sun! However we do have yet more snow falling and it's beautiful! I just wish I could be home taking pictures of it :) You look great in your little 'swim attire' you got on there..... HOTTIE ALERT! LOL!
