Game Night!

Oh My Goodness! It has been FOREVER since I have written on my blog. My apologies for the 5 people who actually read it! haha! I have been too busy to write on here, so let's get started

Last Friday, my friend Jody (male) hosted an entertaining evening of games at his home.  We had a blast.  We played a game of "Apples to Apples" (one of my fav) and a game of "Balderdash."

There is something about playing board games that excites me.   It could be that I was the youngest in my family and also one of the youngest amongst my cousins. Therefore, all my cousins and siblings were older than me and never wanted to play tag, hide and go seek or board games growing up.  I was deprived, darn it so now is my chance to make up for a lost childhood!  :)

On Sunday, everyone brought snacks to share including veggies, chips and salsa, cheese, meat and even homemade banana bread cookies with chocolate chips.  Delicious!  Jody is an amazing chef and made us homemade pizza from scratch. It was fantastic!

 

What I loved most about "game night" was that we had a chance to hang out with good friends and meet new people as well.  I LOVE meeting new people and what a better way to get to know one another than by experiencing "Game Night" together. 

I'm already looking forward to our next one.  I'm thinking of baking some lemon bread to bring to our next gathering...
