I grew up with a lot of older relatives and as they became elderly, a lot of my time as a child was spent visiting them in nursing homes and assistant living communities. I have a special place in my heart for the elderly...especially MN cotton tops!
What I like most about the twin sisters on Leno are their names: Inez Harries and Venice Shaw. How Hollywood is that?
Their favorite Hollywood entertainer of all time is the funny Carol Burnett. Jay surprised them last night with a visit from Carol. It was fun to see the faces of Inez and Venice and how excited they were to meet Carol.
Once again, another inspiring story! I hope we all can live to be 100 and have our shot on Jay Leno! ...That would put Jay well past his retirement years, but anything is possible, right?
Oh my goodness! And they don't even LOOK 100! They look fantastic! Did he interview them about what they believe has kept them going? I always wonder about people this old and ALL the changes in and of the world they've witnessed! Can you imagine? Growing up with B&W TV (if you even HAD a TV) and seeing what we have NOW!? yikes! Overload!
