8AM Hike...Check

This morning, I went on a hike with a couple ladies on my worship team from church. 

We agreed to meet up at Griffith Park at....8AM. 8AM on a Saturday morning is early!  On my drive there this morning, I cut through Hollywood Blvd to Western and I have to say, I have never seen Hollywood Blvd so desolate in my life!  There were no cars anywhere...kind of eery.

Once I arrived, the ladies and I ventured out on a 2 1/2 hr hike. It was a lot of fun exchanging stories and getting to know one another better. 

One of the ladies I was with was talking about preparing a big breakfast when she got home for some guests who are visiting her from out of town.  She was like, "Yes, I am going to make scrambled eggs with ham and cream cheese. Then for dinner I am going to be making a roast with baby red potatoes..."  

I was salivating at every item she was mentioning.  In fact, when we got done hiking, I drove to the grocery store and bought a bunch of breakfast food items and made myself a delicious breakfast.  

After that, I took a nap!
