Names That Make Me Smile :D

Have you ever found yourself smiling when you hear someone's name? I'm not talking about someone you necessarily admire or get butterflies in your stomach over. I'm talking about those names that make you giggle.  For example, I love the name Stanley. I like the way Stanley sounds when I say it out loud.  If someone were to come up to me and say, "Hi, My name is Stanley." I almost always will say, "So nice to meet you, Stanley." Saying Stanley makes me smile.

I like the name Adelaide.  It reminds me of the cute granny from Diff'rent Strokes.

Lance, is another name I like to say. That is my father's name.  Those who know me will often hear me refer to my father by his name, solely because I enjoy saying the name, Lance.  My dad told me kids in grade school would tease him by calling him, "Lance Romance" or say, "Lance has ants in his pants."

My grandma's best friend was named, Melvina (Mel-vye-naw.)  Unfortunately, I never got a chance to meet her, but I've always been a fan of her name.


I also enjoy hearing and saying the names Rodney, Cornelius, Geraldine and Larry.  What are you favorite names?
