Here's To A New Year??

What???  How did it get to be 2011? I feel like I was just celebrating my.... uh-hem....25th birthday! How can it be January 2011, already?  I better step it up and start getting a move on my 2010 goals :)

Over the last year, I've enjoyed reading my friends blogs. I finally came to the conclusion that I want to start my own.  I used to "poo-poo" the Twitter idea as I thought, "How does anyone have time to stop what they are doing and tweet a thought at various given moments of their day?" Yet, given the society we live in, I now can't help but find myself seeking an outlet to share my current events and random thoughts.

For those of you who don't know me too well or happen to stumble across my blog for some random reason, I am typically a private person. I rarely share anything too deep unless I feel my audience is authentically interested in hearing what I have to say. Given my geographic location (L.A.), this often leads to "not much sharing" and lots of "listening to others blab about themselves."  The fact of the matter is, I feel I have a lot to share and I am excited to use this platform as a means of sharing my discoveries, my experiences and opinions.

That being said, I welcome you to visit my blog as often as you like.  I'd also love for you to share your thoughts as well.
